We have been successfully building Gulets and motoryachts since 1988 previously yacht design and building technics was carried out with classic carpentry, design and craftmanship, as well as construction materials used were standard old style carvel planking. Classic Carvel planking hull building with ordinary hot galvanized nails were commonly used in yacht building. The largest size of a leisure yacht would not be bigger than 12 meters in late 70′s,

Nowadays space age technology and superior quality yacht construction materials such as west system epoxy lamination system with two component very strong glue is being commonly used for building laminated frames out of Oak or African mahogany and the hull is covered with thin layers of several 15 mm mahogany strips of 3 or 4 sometimes 5 layers depending on the size of the boat.

Hot galvanized steel materials and the stiffners are commonly used to reinforce the hull epoxy bonding material gives an absolute isolation from the sea water and makes the mono hull much more resistent to barnacles and worms that everyone in the industry suffer enormously.
